It comes with a beautiful gray heat-resistant storage bag, which is long and thin. It also comes with silver heat-resistant gloves and brush attachments. The water tank is clamped in the handle, so it is very slim, 70 ml, too small. And its filling hole is very small, so filling it accurately under the tap is tricky.
Its 24g/min steam function is quite good. It feels like the vertical steam you might get from a steam iron. But unlike an iron, it is very comfortable to hold. We like the trigger control and its 270ml fuel tank, but found that the 2 meter long power cord was too short and the light on the back indicating the power setting was too small, so it was difficult to see.
It takes 30 seconds to heat up. There is no official data on how many grams/minute of steam it provides, but the steam is powerful enough and there are two levels to choose from. We also like the fabric brush. You can open it with a plastic lever with your index finger and open a clip that allows you to press on the collar and crease.

You just have to look at Philips and you will see that it is a bit different. Other vertical steamers look like cylinder vacuum cleaners with telescopic rods on the top and wheels on the bottom. It has no wheels and looks like a clotheshorse, designed for your bedroom or walk-in closet. It does not belong to the cabinet under the stairs, especially because it is still 145 cm high when it is the shortest.
It is expensive, and the design seems to be too complicated. It has two poles that support the hanger and an elastic steam head. If you push it onto the clothes, it will bend backwards. It also has an anti-calcium collector at the bottom and a space for adding your own perfume. The knob on the top allows you to hang your clothes on the hanger and lock it in place. Unusually, it also provides variable steam, with a dial on the base.
There is also a flat part that can be clamped vertically, which looks like a mini ironing board-allowing you to push hard while steaming. We were disappointed that when the vertical steam couldn't cut it off, it couldn't pop out horizontally and used as a mini ironing board at those times (like the crease on a folded handkerchief). And the pants have no handles! Instead, you should hang them over the top of the board.
As for accessories, it comes with brushes for upholstery and thicker fabrics, and silver heat-insulating gloves to protect your free hands. This proves to be useful because the variable steam is very powerful in heavy blows (up to 40 g/min). We like the clever and unique design and found the board to be very effective: a bit like a vertical ironing.
But the price tag and the fact that you can't pack Philips properly means it's not suitable for many people. The elegant Philips lives in our dreamy walk-in closet. We will take out a dreamy dress for the next day, steam it and prepare it, and then leave it there overnight, ready to go to the office... or dance party. But if we had to steam a pile of clothes, we would choose Tefal.

It has a tote bag and two accessories-a steam cover for delicate fabrics, and a brush for heavier fabrics and upholstery. It also comes with a clever metal hook that can be hung on the top of the door, allowing you to hang clothes somewhere for steam treatment.
Its detachable water tank has a capacity of 150 ml and a small water injection hole: it goes well and bad under the faucet, a bit like refueling a water gun. Then turn it on and wait 45 seconds until it stops blinking to indicate that it is ready for use. You have to hold the trigger button to get the steam, which takes a few seconds to start. And the power cord is a bit short at 2m.
We did not have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised: Tefal's performance was surprisingly good. 17 g/min of steam is not enough to provide a crisp effect comparable to ironing shirts, but it is enough to make school polo shirts respectable, quickly remove the creases of clothes of all shapes and sizes, and give clothes a new look.
