“Church buys property” — The M.E. Church of this place has purchased the property now occupied by W.N. Pettee, with adjacent grounds on the west, for the sum of $4,500. The new church is to occupy the corner of Cass and Franklin streets, where the foundation will probably be laid this fall. The M.E. parsonage has been sold to Caleb Terry.
