Make your clothes last longer with Scandi brand Steamery’s newest release

magine a life where ironing boards don’t exist… Well, in Steamery’s world, they don’t need to.

As the front-runners in the steam clothing care market, the Stockholm-based brand’s most up-to-date release, the Cirrus No.3, is by far and above the best handheld steamer I’ve used - and trust me, as a stylist who has spent years preparing clothes for photoshoots, I’ve been around the steamer block.

Borne out of the idea that clothes should last longer, the brand’s mission is to change the way people treat their clothes. Where the arduous task of ironing can lead to burns, damage, and unintended creasing, steaming gently lifts creases with little effort and risk involved, making your threads stay intact for longer. And, let’s face it, wearing a creased outfit isn’t a good look on anyone - with the exception of linen, of course.

Featuring an ironing plate, which creates a unique iron-steamer hybrid, the Cirrus No.3 not only successfully smooths out silks, viscose, and lightweight fabrics, but can even press stubborn creases out of pesky Oxford shirts or troublesome pleated trousers and have them looking as crisp as if you’d spent hours slaving away with an iron. Even better, it will help to dry any inevitable watermarks that arise, leaving your clothes looking as if they were brand new.

And the positives don’t end there. The Cirrus will kill bacteria and remove odours, especially useful for sprucing up those dry-clean only pieces in your wardrobe in between trips to the cleaners. As it only heats up to the equivalent of level one on an iron, it won’t weaken the fibres of any fabrics which often lead to irksome holes and rips.

Ready to use in just 25 seconds, you’ll have ample time to prep any dresses, shirts, or trousers, whether you’re smoothing yourself over for work or freshening up for evening drinks - and you won’t get hot and sweaty in the process. When turning it off, simply cover the hotplate with their nifty silicone cover and leave it to cool in a safe place, with no need to battle with the awkward underside of a bulky ironing board.

As with all of the product line-up, the minimal Scandi aesthetic shines through. Available in two muted colours, charcoal and sand, it’s a simple, compact, and intuitive design that you can stow away easily in a suitcase for an overnight stay. Featuring an accessible refillable water canister that slots effortlessly into the handle with the help of a magnetic pull, and only two buttons, you’d struggle making it difficult to use.

Want your clothes to look feel smarter, look fresher, and last longer, all the while spending less time struggling with an iron? If you answers are a resounding yes, then it’s a no-brainer - a Cirrus 3 will bring you joy as you save time on your chores whilst swanning around in a pristinely pressed outfit on a daily basis.
