The newly-wed Kim Sears - who is yet to reveal whether she has taken her husband's surname - resumed her role as loyal cheerleader for Andy Murray in Paris this week.

Kim, who married Andy Murray on April 11 in Dunblane, Scotland, watched avidly during the men's singles second round match against Joao Sousa of Portugal at the French Open tennis tournament at Roland Garros Stadium, Paris.

Murray came through his opening match against Argentinian qualifier Facundo Arguello in straight sets and Kim looked tense as she watched her man take on Portugal's Joao Sousa on Thursday for a place in round three, which he successfully secured.

She's a newly minted tennis wife, and it's only fitting that she dress the part. So when Kim Sears cheered her husband, Andy Murray, on at the French Open, she wore a floral shirt, waist length trench coat, and an Aspinal of London bag.

The artist kept her look in neutral territory with the sand colored bag. The classic tote was updated with snakeskin on the sides and decorative gold hardware.

After beating the world number 44 in four sets 6-2, 4-6, 6-4, 6-1, Murray may face Spain's David Ferrer, who he has never beaten on clay, in the quarter-finals before a potential last-four clash with either Novak Djokovic or Rafael Nadal.

As always, Kim looked chic in an off-white blouse emblazoned with delicate yellow flowers. The £110 garment is from Hobbs, a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge. As the match progressed, she wrapped up in a beige jacket.

Focussed Andy is so determined to maintain his positive start to the tennis season that he is shelving any plans for a honeymoon until the end of the year in November.

The new Mr and Mrs Murray, who announced their engagement in November last year, tied the knot in a 12th century cathedral before a relatively small group of their family members and close friends.

At 5:43pm, bells rung out and the wedding guests showered the newlyweds with confetti as they left the 45-minute ceremony in the cathedral in the tennis star's hometown.

Kim arrived at the venue in a silver Rolls Royce and had to battle with the forecast rain; a smiling support team including her bridesmaids, dressed in pink, helping to keep the hem of her beautiful embroidered gown from trailing on the floor.
